iPhone creativity.

Working in the printing industry I have reason to both love and hate mobile photo editing, and sharing. In most circumstances mobile apps give users the ability to create amazing works of art for free or next to nothing. On the other hand, unless you know what you’re doing these works of art are generally saved into tiny 480 x 480px images that are then shared onto a social network. This certainly isn’t ideal for printing.

The above photo was created in the desktop version of Photoshop. I was inspired by an app called InstaBlend on iPhone. It’s a modern day app to create a double exposure image. THe app doesn’t work so great, but the concept is a great one.

I am a 28-year-old marketing professional from Birmingham. 2017 is shaping up to be an important and challenging time in my life. Professionally, I am taking on more responsibilities at Woodbrooke, leading on the development of new corporate branding and overseeing the build of Woodbrooke's new website. Personally, in late 2016 I welcomed my beautiful daughter, Aoife, into the world. I can't wait to see how she grows and develops over the next 12 months.
