Continuing my posts on my Perspectives collection I found that Colmore Business District isn’t just home to big corporate business’ but small independent vendors. This collection of photographs looks at a few of the most interesting people I met and photographed.

The next couple of blog posts are going to feature some of the shots I took for a recent collection called ‘Perspectives: Photographs of Colmore Business District’.
For this particular blog I decided to focus on the building in the district. There are a vast number of different styles of building from all different periods. Ever increasingly the new replaces the old, and sometimes the old becomes the new.

I’ve been using instagram quite a lot recently and found I get some really interesting results, combine that with a cool app called ‘frametastic’ and this is where this blog photo comes in.

If I keep posting photos from summer time I’m hoping it’ll get warmer soon.

All these photos were taken along the Welsh coast last summer.

In November 2011 I shot a live band night raising money for the Aplastic Anemia Trust on behalf of Owen. The band night went on to raise over £2,500 for the trust.

Further more they are continuing their fundraising efforts with a huge charity auction. I’m looking at the Signed Guy Martin Poster and the signed Amir Khan Boxing glove. Go over there and see if you can help and win yourself some very cool stuff.

It’s time for change this new year! I’ve kinda neglected this blog over the past couple of months. Whilst although I’ve been busy shooting left right and centre the transition from Lightroom to blog post has been a slow one.

My goal is to seriously keep this blog updated as regularly as I can. So I want to be posting photo’s as I shoot them!
